Since 1975, our company has been providing professional concrete services across the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in concrete preparation, forming, and pouring. What began when Pietro moved to Canada from Italy has grown into a family-operated business built on decades of hands-on experience and craftsmanship. The business was later carried forward by his son, Paul, and today continues with the next generation, Peter, bringing the same dedication to quality and workmanship. With five decades of experience behind us, we continue to build on our foundation while looking toward the future and taking on new opportunities to grow.

The process

Site visit
We walk the site, take grades and measurements, check drainage and access, and talk through what you want it to do and how you want it to look.

Fixed quote
You get a written quote with a detailed description of the work — concrete mix, slab thickness, reinforcement, finish, and what’s included. The number doesn’t change unless the scope does.

Schedule & prep
We book a date and call in locates, then strip out the old slab, excavate, and shape the sub-grade so water runs the way it should.

Base & forms
We bring the granular base up in lifts and compact it, set and brace the forms to line and grade, and place the rebar or mesh up on chairs.

Pour & finish
On the first clear-weather window we place the concrete, screed, float, and finish it — broom, trowel, exposed aggregate, or stamp — with someone from the family on the pour start to finish.

Cut, cure & hand over
We saw the control joints, strip the forms, seal decorative finishes, clean up the site, and walk the finished job with you.

Common questions
How much does concrete work cost?
It depends on the size, slab thickness, base prep, reinforcement, the finish, and how easy the site is to reach. After a site visit you get a fixed written quote that spells out the mix, thickness, reinforcement, and what’s included — no allowances, and the number doesn’t move unless the scope does.
How long will my job take?
Most residential driveways and patios are a few days on site: prep and forming, the pour, then joint cutting and stripping the forms. Curing and weather drive the schedule as much as the crew does.
What time of year can you pour?
We pour through the GTA’s frost-free season, roughly spring to late fall. Cold-weather pours are possible with blankets and mix adjustments, but we’ll tell you honestly when it’s better to wait.
Will it crack?
Concrete moves as it cures and with the seasons. We control where it cracks with proper base prep, reinforcement, and saw-cut control joints. Fine cracking along the joints is normal and expected; structural cracking is not.
Do I need a permit?
Replacing an existing driveway or patio on the same footprint usually doesn’t. New structures, widening a driveway, work close to the property line, or anything structural often does. We flag it at the site visit; the permit application is the homeowner’s responsibility unless we agree otherwise.
Do you remove the old concrete?
Yes. Demolition, removal, disposal of the old slab, and any regrading are part of the quote when they’re part of the job.
When can I use it?
You can usually walk on new flatwork after a day or two and park on a driveway after about a week. Concrete keeps gaining strength for about a month — we’ll give you the specifics for your pour and finish.
