GTA Exposed Aggregate Contractors
Texture that's poured in, not applied after.
Exposed aggregate driveways, walkways, and entry landings — the stone is part of the mix, washed and exposed at the surface for grip and good looks.
A finish that's mostly about timing.
Exposed aggregate is washed and brushed at a specific point in the cure — too early and the stone pulls loose, too late and it won't expose evenly. It rewards experience more than most finishes.
- Driveways, walkways & entry landings
- Natural or coloured aggregate blends
- Broadcast or integral aggregate mixes
- Barrier-free ramps & aprons
- Washed & brushed exposure, timed to the pour
- Sealing to lock in the finish

Exposed aggregate questions
Why choose exposed aggregate over plain concrete?
Traction and looks. The exposed stone gives real grip in rain or frost, hides minor tire marks and wear better than a smooth finish, and reads as a more finished surface than a plain broom pour.
Does exposed aggregate need sealing?
Yes. Sealing protects the exposed stone and the surrounding paste, keeps colours from washing out, and should be reapplied every few years depending on traffic and sun exposure.
Can you match the aggregate to my existing walkway?
Usually. Bring a sample or let us see the existing surface at the site visit and we’ll source an aggregate blend as close a match as the suppliers carry.
Is exposed aggregate good for a wheelchair ramp?
Yes — the exposed texture gives consistent traction underfoot and under wheels, which is why it’s a common choice for barrier-free ramps and entry aprons on commercial jobs.
